He was able to remove my old thicker tv that was mounted and hang my 75” frame TV flush with the wall and route the cords behind the wall, all the while cleaning up the many old cords that had been shoved back there from the last couple decades. Martin also hooked up the existing ceiling speakers in my home with an amp and I am now actually dining in my dining room BEYOND Thanksgiving and Christmas because it’s just so cozy with that music in there. He was honest in telling me to return my Sonos surround speakers I got for Christmas because my open room was not conducive to that set up, which I really appreciated. I wanted to upgrade my TV and audio equipment from a 32” TV and 40-year old component stereo system to a large screen TV and a soundbar in anticipation of improved audio capabilities and integration with video and music streaming services. Because of the fairly significant financial commitment that I would be making, as well as my own limited familiarity with all the options available today, I decided that an additional investment in obtaining professional advice and guidance for this process was key to my making an informed decision. I contacted Audio-Video of Charlotte (AVC) and had multiple conversations with owner, David Stollmack. Over the course of a couple of weeks I met with Robert, who came to my home to further discuss my interests and to assess the area in my home where new equipment would be located. A plan was proposed and was tweaked to better fit within my budgetary constraints. A few days after I approved the plan, my new 65” Samsung TV and Sonos soundbar were delivered. AVC’s installer, Martin, came out to install and set up the equipment and provided usage instructions. After a few days of getting familiar with the new equipment, I requested additional instruction and fine tuning of the TV setup and Apple Music integration. Carson met with me and made adjustments to the TV setup to better fit my viewing preferences and re-instructed me about how Apple Music worked with my soundbar. I’m providing all this detail to share with you my belief that working with AVC is not just a good decision if you have extensive experience with up-to-date technology and want to “geek out” with real pros in the audio/video universe, but it is a smart decision to choose this company because it has a “customer first” approach to sales. What you will get from AVC (that you won’t get from those “big box” stores or online markets) is a group of dedicated experts with decades of audio and video sales and engineering experience who are focused on providing the best possible customer service experience while also providing the best equipment that your money can buy. They respect you and your home. They respect your budget and work within the limits you set. They are patient and kind. He worked with his vendor to replace several damaged screens for us and was very responsive to any issues that arose.
